Guess what? You haven't Googled well enough. It's a duplicate of this question. - How to disable “recent files” folder in Nautilus?

comment Wubi: request not supported when Installing to a partition, 13.04
On top of being a duplicate question, Wubi installs are no longer supported from 13.04 onwards. You should consider making a proper install on a separate partition.

Anyway, let's not keep multiple instances of the same question around. I'll close it as a duplicate of the other question for preserving sanity.

comment Why is pkexec preferred over gksudo for graphical applications?
Gksu is available in live media but is not installed (pretty much like Gparted). While there are some issues with pkexec, it is still installed by default and that probably is the reason to prefer it over gksu.

Hello again. Like I mentioned on the other question, can you move the current question content to the answer section and phrase your question like you actually have one? Thank you.

comment Run typical sudo commands from button on unity
Hi MB-. Thank you for sharing this piece of info. However, our format works slightly different from a blog post. Can you phrase your question like you are in jeopardy and then move the question content to the answer section? That would be clearer for everyone who are accustomed with our site. Thank you very much.

It's the in-built screencaster for gnome-shell. Ctrl-Alt-Shift-R to activate it.

This would then be a duplicate of How come all my window buttons are right aligned, but chrome buttons are on the left? but you say that option is unavailable. I am reopening this question because I overlooked a few things.

Hi Rodrigo. Thanks for your flag and the effort you put into answering. I think the most prudent thing to do would be mark this question as a duplicate of the other question and also delete the answer in this question. Hope you are fine with that. Thanks again for your contributions.

Guess it has less to do with dash blur and more to do with graphics card.
