I am Mark Dominus. I have been programming Unix systems since around 1987, and was a professional Unix sysadmin between 1990 and 1995.

I have operated a private Unix system since around 1995. In those days I used Slackware; these days it is Ubuntu.

I have a blog that often carries articles about Unix and programming in general.
