Started using Linux and StackExchange since Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Then Upgraded to 14.04 LTS. (with clean install). Then perfectly used Xubuntu 14.04 (by installing
xubuntu-desktop environment) for about 6 months.
Now I am using Trisquel (GNU/Linux) 7.0 LTS.
Ubuntu has Great community-support, software resources & package-management !
On Stack Exchange:
I used to run Ubuntu on my simple Desktop-PC (Pentium4 3x3 GHz processor, 1GB of RAM).
I ran Unity in 12.04, 14.04 LTS then as per my system configuration and requirements, I experienced XFCE smoother and faster than unity (rare/less crash than unity) so I switched to XFCE.
I've replaced Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with Trisquel 7.0 LTS And Trisquel is running perfectly on my PC, also GNOME Flashback is familiar.
Now my question(s) become off-topic on Askubuntu so, I continue to Unix & Linux. But still sometimes I contributes on Askubuntu by Answering, commenting , Reviewing , Closing etc!
