comment No Unity bar, no window bar on Saucy and Trusty
At a loss, I just re-created a user account with the same name and it works fine. Hope this is simpler than re-installing the entire OS.

comment 'nvidia-settings' received an X Window System error (error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.)
Thanks! Just adding, to avoid apt-get telling me to update nvidia-setings to its newest version, I had to echo 'nvidia-settings hold' | sudo dpkg --set-selections (without telling the version).

comment rhythmbox won't play radio stations from 13.04
I got it working! Thx (I know we should no longer remain on 13.04 now that's EOL). Still I sometime get Internal Data Flow Error but relaunching Rhythmbox seems to resolve it.

Cool. I'll try this out, but I'm just afraid that apt-get would suggest the new erroneous version every time I run apt-get upgrade?
