I work as a Platform Engineer for Mozilla, mainly on the web rendering team with a specialization in layout. I am also the lead software engineer for Lil Joe Bean and President of Glass Tower Studios, LLC.

I have a Master of Science, Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, as well as two Bachelor of Science degrees - Mathematics and Computer Science - from the University of North Dakota. My research interests include Computational Geometry, Computer Graphics (specifically 3D real-time rendering and surface-light interaction modeling).

I also volunteer my time to numerous projects, including the Crystal Space SDK, which is an open source game engine, and the Eridanus project, a game design project. I am very passionate about video games, especially with regards to high performance graphics and immersive environments.

When I'm not working or developing open source software, my major hobbies include martial arts, video games, sailing, and playing my violin. I hold the rank of 2nd Degree Black Belt, Yellow Sash in Wu Chi Chuu'an Kung Fu.
