comment Samba Permissions not staying for all users on 14.04 Server
Unfortunately this did not work. A user created a folder, and only he has access to it (error message - "Access Denied - You do not have permission"). I tried making both masks 2777 as well as this suggestion found on another blog: chgrp users /mnt/TEST-NEW-SERVER && chmod g+s /mnt/TEST-NEW-SERVER most of the users can make or copy folders into this share and everyone has access but sometimes a folder is created or copied in and only that person has access. I can't understand it. I am sure I have done everything right. I may have to go back to security=share if I can't make this work.

I have chosen this solution, but it will take a few days before full testing can be assured. Once I have fully tested, I will mark this as the answer or come back for more help.
