comment Copy app error: “The open file ulimit level is too low, please increase it otherwise changes will not be detected properly”
For some reason this only worked for me once. After that I tried increasing the limits even 100 times more than this and I couldn't get the CopyAgent to start.

comment How to resize virtual machine disk?
Instead of making a backup in the last step (if the image is large and you don't want to/don't have the additional disk space) you could just do virsh edit virt_name and change the path to the disk's source to the new one. Then if it doesn't work, just change it back and try again. There's not really much point in having 3 images when you could do it with 2.

I had the same line (must have got it from somewhere on the interwebs), commented it out and everything started working again.

comment How to make Apache run as current user
I have a feeling you meant something like grep -HR "www-" /etc/apache2/. If you already know it's in apache2.conf then just edit that file. In my case, it wasn't there, but in /etc/apache2/envvars as Eric's answer points out.

comment What is the difference between mail-server^ task and the mail-stack-delivery package?
In the case of mail-stack-delivery, you can download the package yourself and extract it and look at the various scripts that run pre and post install and remove as well as the 01-mail-stack-delivery.conf file you mention.

comment How can I resize an LVM partition? (i.e: physical volume)
GUI is definitely the way to go, however you will likely need to run it from a live CD.

comment How to turn off baloo in KDE 4.13?
"There is no explicit “Enable/Disable” button any more. We would like to promote the use of searching and feel that Baloo should never get in the users way". Wow, talk about arrogance. Make it stop using up 100% of my CPU and bringing my computer to a grinding halt and I might think about using it. But this should still be the users' decision.
