Retired, play golf 3 days a week and spend most of my spare time at home on my laptop running 12:10. Moved to Ubuntu in 2009 having tried for some years before that only to have been frustrated by the Broadcom WiFi issue. I run 2 web sites for my golf club and Village where I live.
I'm also the "computer guru" for friends, relatives and local villagers and am slowly weaning some of these off Windows to Ubuntu.
I'm a great believer in the Linux project and enjoy the intellectual challenge these computer issues bring. I'm not a programmer but do dabble a bit with the Terminal.
The Linux community is a great resource which brings people of all countries together to help one another.
I'm no expert but by dabbling and helping others I have increased my experience and if that experience can help others then that is a testament to those who have helped me.
