My sound is distorted in Doom3. How can I fix it? pasuspender disables PulseAudio for an app. As I remember it wouldn't affect your existing installation, it just add oss drivers for alsa. Anyway, you can always purge this package. |

Why does ubuntu 11.10 freeze when playing video? Do you run proprietary Nvidia driver? Is there anything in logs of xserver? /var/log |

My sound is distorted in Doom3. How can I fix it? Maybe you should kill pulseaudio server and run a game with oss driver. Someone at Ubuntu Forums says it helped ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1568010 |

Enable wifi on my computer - firmware missing And answer to your question - no, you don't need to buy another wi-fi adapter. By the way, iy you REBOOT from windows to Ubuntu, wi-fi will probably work there too, because windows has already uploaded a firmware in you wi-fi card. |
