UbuTech, LLC has been fixing friends and families computers for years. I've been using computers since the release of the Macintosh Plus. I am driving full throttle into the industry with innovative Open Source solutions to empower your Business. Contact me today to find out how I can help your business be successful with tools and knowledge. If you would like to aid in my success I need new hardware and have expenses for example paying the cost of various Virtual Private Servers as well as my internet bill. I am trying out Patreon, it's a newer way for content creators like myself to make a little bit of money to cover the costs of overhead es as I mentioned above. To learn more about the solutions I've provided previously you can view my Blog or check out a Tech and Gaming Website I just launched which is for hosting the podcast, Linux Tech and Gaming.

comment How do I install and use flashcache/bcache to cache HDD to SSD?
im curious if this still works, i ended up switching and not using flashcache any longer, i just installed Arch on the 64GB SSD (the linux kernel thinks it's only 32GB however) due to the internal firmware. I could see this being beneficial as a caching drive for some steam games.

comment How do I eliminate screen tearing on 14.04 and XBMC with NVidia-331?
I tried both suggestions of adding the -bs as well as enabling that libsdl ppa and neither made my screen tearing go away. Playing minecraft I have major screen tearing when running up and down stairs. I am using a GTX 760 with Nvidia Binary BLOB 337.25. VSync is enabled within the game. Sync to VBlank is also enabled within the nvidia-settings so if anyone else has any other suggestions please let me know, this screen tearing is driving me through the roof!
