How to move 'Games' to Unity @d0m a ".desktop" file is a text file, not a file you put on your desktop. I think you might need to pop on to our chat when you get some rep and learn a bit more about the system (you seem confused). |

laptop-mode-tools and harddrive spinoff @Manish that's why I said "to my memory". I read somewhere (a while ago) that it isn't needed anymore, and shouldn't be installed unless absolutely needed or something. |

Can Tomboy import notes from a directory (eg Dropbox)? @dAnjou: you should add this as an answer. Jordan Tomboy could "watch" for new notes, but only if they are in it's format. |

Change manually the icon of a nautilus place item These are not stored in gconf I believe. Also I don't think you can change icons for entries that are automatically added in that manner. |
