comment Dropbox 3.0.3 context menu cannot be used
My KDE panel at the bottom (holding the system tray) had been setup to "auto-hide". This setting caused the observed behaviour. Once "auto-hide" was changed, the expected behaviour for the Dropbox icon was observed.

comment Lubuntu: neither shut-down nor restart works
I am facing the same problem now and am dismayed that this is considered off-topic. I wonder what an on-topic question will look like. What a shame there is no working answer!

Thank you. The solution you have given using System Settings -> Removable Devices is perfect and works for me. Those who are not faint-hearted could also look at these links: 1 and 2.

comment IBus indicator missing in 11.10
I have the same problem and neither of these solutions worked for me. The system tray checkbox was already marked. Also choosing neither ibus nor ibus-kde for my Kubuntu system worked. Can someone who has solved this please help? Thanks.
