A web developer who's server side technology of choice is the LAMP stack. I've come quite a way in computer stuff in the past four years, and have learned the likes of HTML, Javascript, PHP, Ruby, Python, Java, and a bit of bash scripting.

Linux is my primary operating system, and I have a really big computer that I assembled myself.

Some OSS projects I'm working on:

I'm available for hire. You can see my portfolio at http://nucleussystems.com/#work

Updated to current version. Package name complication does not appear to be present any more.

comment Installation of capybara-webkit ruby gem
Splendid! Deleting Gemfile.lock resolved it for me. Re-creating the gemset did nothing, nor did reinstalling the Qt packages.

I should clarify that it should be only the name of the executable, not the full path, no quoting, or anything extra of that sort.

I tried Sushi, but wasn't very fast, and didn't allow me to select text at all.

That's perfect! If it started any faster, it would open before I clicked! :) Used to use SciTe as my main editor, forgot all about it.

You're right, vim and nano both start basically instantly, but I would need to start a terminal emulator, and I don't always have one up. I'd like a GUI I can start from Nautilus.

comment Will developers be able to use ruby or python for apps on ubuntu mobile?
Pretty sure any language with Qt/QML bindings would be supported, it simply being GNU/Linux and all.
