Can't install ATI proprietary drivers in 12.10 I've just added my comments to that bug report. I find it somewhat shocking that a bug like this made it through to final, as ATI cards are not that rare... |

How do I install update the BIOS of my Acer Aspire 4820TG laptop? In the end, I took the easy way out of booting into Windows and running the firmware update. I just wasn't confident enough in the supplied FreeDOS method and didn't want to risk bricking my laptop. |
