comment How can I redirect *.localhost to 127.0.0.1 in Ubuntu 14.04?
Is there any way to achieve the same result with "default" sw installed i.e. w/out dnsmasq?

comment Adobe AIR install problem, Ubuntu x64 14.04
I suggest to add apt-get remove adobeair as first line in your script. I had to do a complete air runtime uninstall (apt-get remove adobeair) before being able to install scratch 2.x: You script was ok but air application install crashed.

comment How can I find duplicate photos?
fdupes will also miss duplicates in different directories; let's say you have two copies of a photo one in folder birthday-party/ and the other in family-stuff/ ... "fdupes -fr ." will miss this duplicate.

comment What are some good PHP editors?
Add Ubuntu on Rails PPA: sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ubuntu-on-rails/ppa sudo apt-get update Note: on Karmic use add-apt-repository instead of apt-add-repository. Install gedit-gmate package: sudo apt-get install gedit-gmate

I guess that it has been fixed by the upgrade to: xserver-xorg:i386 (7.6+12ubuntu1, 7.6+12ubuntu2) xserver-xorg-video-all:i386 (7.6+12ubuntu1, 7.6+12ubuntu2) xserver-xorg-input-all:i386 (7.6+12ubuntu1, 7.6+12ubuntu2) x11-common:i386 (7.6+12ubuntu1, 7.6+12ubuntu2), xorg:i386 (7.6+12ubuntu1, 7.6+12ubuntu2)
