comment Keep getting messages about internal system errors
@mishap: I haven't seen this error in a while now, and I think it's been fixed in recent releases. I've run 14.04 on several different computers since it was released and I've never seen it on this version, so it might be time to give Ubuntu a new chance if you feel like it =)

Running this command yields mdadm: /dev/md2 has been started with 1 drive (out of 2)., and after digging a while I found some content too =) Turns out all of the files on the disk were in hidden backup folders... But thanks a lot - I can start digging through the data now!

I'm on Ubuntu 13.10, in case it's relevant for how to do this.

No, it doesn't hide, even if I re-activate "hide on lose focus", so I guess this is a layout problem then. I noticed this is also a problem in some other cases - for example, when renaming an event in Shotwell I lose focus when pressing AltGr. (It doesn't happen when renaming e.g. a folder in Nautilus...) I'm using a Swedish keyboard layout. Any idea how to keep troubleshooting?

@uosɐſ: Nope, not yet. Can't say I've spent a lot of time trying, though...

I did that - there was nothing between the lines [ 1813.909] (II) Printing all currently active device grabs: and [ 1813.909] (II) End list of active device grabs.
