Dell Inspiron7520 and Ubuntu 12.04 issues rc.local and sleep.d/ scripts run with root privileges, so they don't need sudo. But you need sudo if you run from the console. It's there in the first example, or if you want to run the script as root, you can run sudo sh .powerfix. |
