Long term linux user with years of using Ubuntu Meego Moblin Kubuntu and even a bit of Chromium OS. I like to put back in for all the help I have received in the past.
I like to be able to help new users who are struggling to make Ubuntu work. It should just work!. It mostly does for me and so I want to help you get yours to work too! :-)

Skype video not working after upgrade from 11.10 to 12.04 For now I will go through all the related webcam/skype older solutions (mine included) and redirect them to the solution above even though it does not work for me. |

Skype video not working after upgrade from 11.10 to 12.04 These seemed at first to work but I am afraid for me it just does not.After a few years of using these hacks I cannot get this one above to work I am afraid. I am using a logitech quick cam 2500 and when skype starts now and I press the test button I get a fleeting picture and then it freezes. When I tested using another connection there is no video at all. I am getting to the stage when this is being a pain and I would like to be able to help create a solution to this. |

12.04 system always freezes OK Aldo if you can we would like to help you. Could you please let us know what pc you have? Also if possible could you let us know what other operating system you have on this pc now and how you changed from Ubuntu 11.10 to Ubuntu 12.04? |

How come Unity won't run on my IBM Thinkpad T42? Been messing around again with the T42 and have put Ubuntu 11.10 on it which automatically runs Unity in 2d with really positive results |
