I received a B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from MIT in 2011.

It's important for me to be working vocationally towards societally positive goals (notably, not negative nor (debatably) neutral), so I decided to apply my computer science abilities towards the field of human health via biology.

Towards that end, I joined the Computational Biology Ph.D. program at the University of California, Berkeley in the fall of 2011.

I know python, bash, R, and Java very well. I'm decent at perl and Matlab. I'm heavily learning statistics and machine learning at the moment.
