Actually, I don't get the same error message, but they all recognize the content as video, which it isn't, and so therefore can't be played.

Yes. The only thing that worked was the UA spoofer in chromium, and even that requires a DIFFERENT spoof browser each time I go to a new page under the overall site. Its weird!

It works! For posterity, the system was somehow unhappy about running the shell script after making the changes manually. I got it to work by doing it manually -> rebooting -> doing the shell script stuff -> rebooting

It no longer recognizes the manual changes that I made after I restart my computer. How can I "just make a script from the commands I had to run"?? I do not know how to make a shell script.
