Clearly your system only has 2 slots and has 1gb per slot, consult your manual to find out if it support larger capacity ram sticks

It is probably due to the change from bios to uefi, in the off chance secure boot is enabled on the new motherboard disable it; Also can you run the bootinfoscript if that is not the case
