Ok... but I don't still get. Let's say I have yiic inside /home/mysuser/ and that I navigate there by using cd /home/myuser . Once inside, I believed that doing just yiic, it should work because I've called while on that directory. But he says command not file. If I do the same, and I use the ./ then, it runs properly... Can you please clarify a little bit more?

@root45 - done it. Now I have: drwxr-xrwx 2 www-data www-data 4096 2011-08-26 14:17 /etc/phpmyadmin - still no luck and the white page still appears.

Is it true that we can also do: chmod -R o+w /or/path/here ? (the -R being option obviously). ?

Thanks a lot. Is there a way to create the directory with mkdir and at the same time, give those permissions ?

I've not read your answer yet. I wanted to add that, this same issue happens with Korganizer. I would like to see it on the system tray, but they don't appear. I have Skype 2.2.25 Beta I believe. But as mentioned the same happen with OTHER programs.

Where should I look for those advanced sound settings ? Inside Banshee ? On System > Preferences > Sound ?

comment How to play music files directly from folders?
If the script provided by dv3500ea works on all (or almost all) ubuntu systems and not in mine, I will switch the answer for his post instead of this. However, this was, in fact the solution found.

I do have ruby. I do see the ruby on my icon. :)Just for curiosity, I could test the script If I know how to debug it, (some sort of alert, so that I could understand where does it stops. :)

I've called Play. No extension. Should I called it Play.sh or something ? Or Play.rb ?

Nope. I don't doubt the script work. But it not even starts the program, so even if I didn't add the last line (that I did), it should at least open it. I've remake the steps. No luck. Perhaps something to do with my own system configuration somehow.
