Network Manager Applet menu freezes and does not respond Killing and running nm-applet works, thank you very much. I had to use sudo /etc/init.d/network-manager restart though |

Wifi randomly connects and UI does not respond The network panel becomes unresponsive after a while for me too, I'm on 11.04. It also randomly connects when I don't want it to. |

Network Manager Applet menu freezes and does not respond How do I downgrade this package? "Force version" is greyed out in Synaptic. When I try sudo apt-get install network-manager-gnome=0.8.1+git.20100809t190028.290dc70-0ubuntu3, I get the error Version ‘0.8.1+git.20100809t190028.290dc70-0ubuntu3’ for ‘network-manager-gnome’ was not found. By the way I have version 0.8.4~git.20110318t152954.9c4c9a0-0ubuntu1 |

How can I get the taskbar to spread over multiple rows? Nope, just manually! I've chosen the answer that specifically mentioned right-clicking on an "empty space" in the panel, as that particular instruction clarified the problem I was having. |

How can I get the taskbar to spread over multiple rows? Thanks! The reason I couldn't get this to work before is that I never had any empty space left in the panel when I tried to right-click on it... |
