Getting Star Wars - Rogue Squadron working on linux Have you tried PlayOnLinux? If not, try it. Also, a quick search on WineHQ for reviews of the game shows that it has, at best, a bronze rating. The reviews for it are old, though, so it's possible the things keeping it from working have since been fixed. However, that should be something to keep in mind. |

How to run audio settings program without Unity? What are you trying to achieve by avoiding Unity here? Are you using a different desktop environment (ie - Gnome, KDE, etc)? Do you want to adjust it via terminal, keyboard commands, something else? |

Is there a Linux equivalent to LinqPad? @John - Actually, LinqPad does have update capability, though GUI access requires upgrading to the premium edition. You can also write and run stored procedures (and probably edit permissions, though I haven't tried) via LinqPad, provided you know the proper SQL for it. |

Where is the window switcher in ubuntu 12.10? You have to install the extra plugins to get that. It doesn't come by default anymore. This is largely due to the fact that Unity enables certain ones to get its look and feel. Be warned, you'll have to deal with a bunch of conflict warnings to get the ring switcher working. |
