comment Bash Script to Drag and Drop a File to New Location
I don't know of any file manager which allows you to drag and drop a file onto an application, and then pass that file to the application to do something with. Every file-manager I've used only supports dragging files into folders. Do you have any reason to think this might be possible? Have you seen an application that works this way? You could of course do this with a web application (which then provides the browser's drag & drop API), or another more complex type of application, but that may be too complex to explain in an AskUbuntu answer.

comment What is meant by 'Transactional Updates'
Aren't the other OSs mentioned by Docker also transactional? Atomic and CoreOS? Also, to what extent can mobile OSs like Android or iOS be said to be transactional, given that their apps are also self-contained in terms of dependencies?

@DustinKirkland is there any way to set this via the command-line? I'd like to add it to my setup scripts.

Ah thanks! I swear I tried that. Never mind. I'm going to leave my question there 'cos I think it adds value by mentioning this error message. Someone might google that same error message (as I tried to do) and find my question.
