comment can my 2 GB sd card be used as ram like in windows 7?
I've done this myself and unless you have a fast SD card or really low ram you are unlikely to see any increase in performance. ZRAM, on the other hand, really seemed to help out my older play-around laptop with 1.5GiB RAM when running lots of Chrome windows.

comment Can I enhance the performance of ubuntu using a sd card by in anyways?
I too have tried this... not gonna work like you think. I have an older laptop sitting around with a pata 60GB drive and the sd was WAY slower. Mabey it might help as a swap drive since you will be using 2 drives, but I haven't tested it.

comment How to install zram on Ubuntu 13.04?
Just to clarify... you don't need to install zramswap-enabler or the ppa, the zram-config package is a meta-package containing the upstart job for it. If you want to verify that it is working, type mount at the command prompt and you'll see more fuse mounted partitions than before.

You cannot unmount the drive you are using... if you want to resize a partition, boot from a usb stick and use gparted on the drive.
