I started programming with QBasic when I was eleven.
After a while, I started to learn VB.NET and coded several programs in it (including my recent project, the Persian Numerals project).
However, none of these were interesting for me as much as C++ was. I got to learn about objects and OOP programming, in the C++ course at high school, which I think is the most exciting part of programming.
I still write programs in C++ but I’ve focused on learning Java for developing android apps and learning Python to create native software for Linux.
