When both services were stopped, starting PostgreSQL doesn't start Crowd. If both were stopped, and one only starts Crowd, PostgreSQL isn't started.

"start on started postgresql" produce the same results. PostgreSQL starts after reboot, but not Crowd.

postgresql is "Running clusters: 9.1/main" and crowd is "crowd stop/waiting".

After running for a while, I noticed that services do not start automatically upon startup after postgresql started. In essence, after automatic updates all services are dead.

@fluteflute That last statement sounds more like marketing than anything else. If the developers don't trust their software enough to have a proper release of it, then why should I. In essence, I'd only recommend the software if developers are confident enough in their "product" to have an official release.

According to the duplicity website, it is still in beta. Not sure I'll recommend that anyone use beta software to backup or restore critical data, even if its family photos.

Déjà Dup depends on duplicity. According to the duplicity website, it is still in beta. I don't trust beta software for backups/restore. Do you? Not sure I'll recommend it to anyone.
