actually no i didn't Gnome-box. Do now though. sorry. But yes I do know Oracle Virtual-box. Use it a lot. In that case it shouldn't make any difference whether you run Unity virtual or physically

comment Are webapps working in Ubuntu 14.10?
oh sure. That works in 14.10 as well. I use the google and fb ones and I didn’t have to do anything to get them working after upgrading to 14.10. They just did.

comment How to Upgrade Ubuntu 14.04 LTS to Ubuntu 14.10 using Source iso without losing data?
if your system has internet access, then you don not need an iso. You can just upgrade from your live system. In the config panel, go to 'software and updates', then to the tab called 'updates'. Down at the bottom you can select what new ubuntu versions you want to be alerted on. If you select 'any new version' you will get a suggestion to upgrade to 14.10 at you next software update. (you may have to log and out for that to work)

comment will Ubuntu 14.04 automatically overflow onto second hard disk?
you are suggesting that adding a disk cannot be done after initial install. this is not the case. Though a little bit more tricky, it can certainly be done. Your answer may cause the user do an unnecessary re-install

comment How to make Ubuntu Gnome display bigger in Virtualbox?
So are you seeing Ubuntu gnome inside Virtualbox? If you are using virtualbox it means you are running a virtual nachine inside windows. If you use the install option on the virtual machine, you will not change anything on the so-called host operating system. Once you installed it, you can install guest additions to get better resolution.

comment Trouble loading ubuntu onto Samsung Galaxy III
sorry but what image are you planning to load onto your galaxy s3 ?? Ubuntu touch is only developed for the LG Nexus4 phone. There is one very old community port to the s3 but that was never fully done, and I dont believe anyone will reccomend doing that

comment Missing date & time from top panel of Unity Desktop - Ubuntu 14.04
Actually, weird as it sounds, I can confirm this solution. Apparently starting the langauge support panel, some broken libs are indeed (i guess not downloaded but) reenabled. Therefore a +1
