Packages Install But Don't Display? Problem solved! Asked the same question on the Ubuntu forums and got the answer in a matter of hours. Solution was to simply run via the terminal. Thanks! |

Save and Run Programs From USB Thanks Anake, that could be the solution i need. Please could you tell me how i replace the sym link? I'm still very new to Ubuntu and i need to be treated like a child in order to understand at the moment. If you could quickly explain then that would be great. |

Where's Syslinux.CFG? Ah, well how do i make a Persistence USB stick then? The instructions tell me that i need to edit the syslinux.cfg file, so if it's not there i don't understand how i can do it? unetbootin.sourceforge.net/diskimg/readme.txt |

Save Changes When Running From USB. Thanks Fernhill Linux Project, that's probably the answer i was looking for, the Persistence option was something i didn't check when using the USB installer. Unfortunately i cannot test at the moment but i will have a go tonight and see what i can do. Best wishes, UbuntuRob. |
