I'm pretty much your stereotypical uber nerd (gamer, high IQ, extremely anti-social, computer tech, etc.) though I don't really look the part. I'm currently working on my Masters in Software Engineering at the University of West Florida. I've been playing video games for over 25 years and will do so till the day I die. Gaming is more of a culture and/or spiritual experience for me rather than a pastime. I still have my original NES, which is still hooked up to my TV and fully functional. My current computer is my first home-built PC dedicated to gaming. I'm on Steam, OnLive, and have a few other games that are either on disk or were downloaded. My consoles are the NES, Gameboy Color, N64, PS2, GameCube, Wii, and XBox360. I used to have an SNES and a Sega Genesis, but I sold them with all their games back in college because I thought I would just use emulators to play them. Worst gaming-related mistake of my life. I also write fiction in my spare time. I've written 2 fantasy novels and am working on the closer to the trilogy. I've also got another completely different one started, and have many more ideas on the back burner.
