AMD Catalyst 11.7 with external monitor I used open drivers before, everything went fine, except playing games. With my open driver Heroes Of Newerth was lagging, while catalyst get much better performance in that, even better than my home PC with Win XP and NVidia 512MB card. This time AMD get much better support for performance, but also have some bugs. Like this one, I described. If this problem can be fixed only by AMD, I'll wait until they fix it. Thanks. |

Downloading large files hangs system Extension helped me to solve this problem in this way. But still if I download via firefox downloader - problem exist. |

Downloading large files hangs system 1) seconds update irregularly. 2) I have 3gb RAM. 3) After downloading finished, firefox become gray and don't respond for 15-30 seconds, and then become normal. Seconds update period, and FF gray screen depends on file size. Near 1gb - is fine, more - starting to hang. |

Manhattan [Mobility Radeon HD 5000 Series] support on 10.10 Yes, I tried catalyst 11.5. It's working now, but have big performance problems and graphical bugs, but at least system boots without problems... |

Ubuntu 11.04 and ATI Catalyst 11.5 graphics artifacts I tried every option in amdcccle, but there are only 3d effects improvements options, like Anti-aliasing, anisotropic filter etc. Nothin about fullscreen. So, nothing helped. And i didn't find anything on that site, about fullscreen problems in games |
