@Maythux follow it's build and install guides. When done, run zint-qt from either Alt+F2 or the command line with an & at the end (to fork it to the background)

Try copying the directory in directly? It may be a case that the symlinks aren't followed

This sounds like you're on Windows. Or are you using Wine? (There's already an Ubuntu PPA for Bitcoin you might want to use instead of trying to make it work on Wine)
