comment How to get icons in pcmanfm ubuntu 12.10 with only fluxbox
Your former line with gtk-icon-theme-name = "Humanity" was ok, it gave a good working starting point.

comment Is there an option to make xterm's font size much larger than Huge?
Not tried it yet, but that looks close to what you want: askubuntu.com/questions/161652/…

comment What values are available for fn and fb options to the xterm command?
although your answer may have been really helpful for the OP, it doesn't answer the question about possible parameters using xterm with it's option -fn and -fb

comment A right path to CPP SDK for using it in IntelliJ Idea's cpp-project
@Wolfer if you look at the picture that klimat has joined in his post, the IntelliJ idea c++ plugin is clearly asking for a 'Cpp sdk home path'.

comment Getting rid of Xauthority files
:-) Nice suggestion... I would have prefer a configuration parameter that would have help me stop producing them :-)

comment Convert filesystem NTFS -> EXT4?
I have been misled by this answer. The man page doesn't state it can convert to ntfs, and the tool is not maintained since 2010. I could not compile the 6 latters versions of anyfs-tools for ubuntu 12.04 environement.

comment To be granted root rights while browsing files/directories with Nautilus 2.30
I think the difference is really clear. That's the same reason for installing sudo not using su. Having su rights only for a small and delimited time is less dangerous than having them during a whole session.

comment Ubuntu One not connecting to the cloud service
After having tried to install the command line package, which was already installed ;-)... Command lines were inoperative, so I basically didnt modify anything... But after ten minutes, then like magically, all was synchronized. Nice.

comment Is there transparency of windows in GNOME?
I have tried configuring the opacity with "class=Gedit" and window opacity value at 50... but my Gedit windows remain still plain opaque... maybe I should restart, but I have 20 windows openned,so I'll restart later... we'll see

comment Is there transparency of windows in GNOME?
I managed to install it, but didn't manage to find what to configure so has transparency takes effect ;-) There's an increase and decrease parameter which is certainly about opacity but dont know what sort of control it is. I'll look at it...

comment apt-get vs. aptitude .vs synaptic compatibility
@Chris... Same for me, I never got used to Aptitude. Close to Synaptic, I had also used KPackage in KDE. It was nice.
