comment Razer BlackWidow - Ubuntu not Recognizing Audio jacks
@JourneymanGeek when I said the audio out and microphone jacks were broken, I meant that only the jacks were broken, as in I can still connect them, and they would sometimes work, sometimes not. Kind of like when you have broken headphones, you have to tweak the cable a bit for the sound to go through both ears. Also, I would have thought that the BlackWidow acted like an external sound card would, but that doesn't seem to be the case

@JourneymanGeek I've stated it before, but the port(s) that the keyboard is connected to work, and the USB port on the BlackWidow work, the problem was that I was unable to see an option where I could set the sound to go through the keyboard

@ElderGeek Both are plugged in, yes. However, regardless if they are plugged in or not, there is no option to select it as the output/input. (Usually an option like "USB Adapter" or something is there, and the audio will still be sent to it, but it doesn't matter if nothing is plugged in)

@ElderGeek I am able to use any usb device connected to the keyboard, but I am unable to see any sound options in which the source is the keyboard itself

comment Get working directory of terminal, not the script
I think what the problem was was that it was a script executing another script... All the script does is run two lines of code, touch and chmod creating the file then giving it +x perms. I think I might not bother with it as it's not that big a deal...
