Why does Ubuntu fail to run .exe files? / How do I run .exe? That's a very old, outdated and unsupported version. Best advised not to use it. go to www.ubuntu.com and pick up the 12.04LTS version. Download it (free) and burn it to CD or USB. Then try that. Software centre can be found on the launcher when you try the liveCD. |

Why does Ubuntu fail to run .exe files? / How do I run .exe? When you boot into it, wait for it to load then go into Applications/Accessories/Terminal. You should see a command-like window pop up. Cut and paste the following and hit enter, then post the result.. cat /etc/lsb-release |
