About

VMware Workstation is a Type-I hypervisor (also known as Virtual Machine Monitor) that runs on x64 as well as x86 computers; it enables users to set up one or more virtual machines (VMs) on a single physical machine, and use them simultaneously along with the actual machine. Each virtual machine can execute its own operating system, including versions of Microsoft Windows, Linux, BSD, and MS-DOS.

This tags is meant to be used about questions of running the VMware Workstation product on Ubuntu or Ubuntu as guess system in VMware Workstation. Problems with guest or host which are not Ubuntu are off topic.
