The Earth is divided into 24 timezones - each with it's own time. Every Timezone occupies 15° of the Earth's Longitude, although sometimes Timezones can vary due to country borders.

The Times for the Timezones are based on the Greenwich mean time, which is the time in the UK. Every timezone to the east of the UK adds 1 hour from the UK, and every timezone to the west of the UK subtracts 1 hour from the UK.
