Problem with Text Editor (reading Arabic text) [closed]
I've a problem with the text editor,it can not read any downloaded Arabic text files.
It appears as strange symbols, however when I write in Arabic it writes normally How can I solve this problem?

Is there Split Pane support in Gedit?
I know some other text editors like Notepad++ enable split pane to edit to files side by side. Is there any way I can add this functionality to Gedit?
