1) After install update Ubuntu 10 to 11 version, sound system runs slow, I can't use output on earphones, no sound, only laptop speakers run.

I has trying reinstall alsa, but sound system doesn't known earphones output.

2) I connect by USB port Creative Xmod Xfi, an USB sound interface with input/output/line plugs, its another sound card. Sound System doesn't recognise it. I can't use this hardware because configuration process failed.
