I installed 11.10 today and everything seems to be working fine, except that the maximum screen brightness is too low - it's around the same level as the third- or second-lowest brightness setting in OS X. It's usable in low light but only just. I tried Google but found nothing. Any ideas? Is there perhaps a way to change the system's maximum allowed brightness setting?

The issue fixes itself until you dim the lights again, or they dim themselves because of afk. Only fix is to suspend by closing lid and then brightness i back up, but there should be a permanent fix? | |||
