I am running a double partition, Windows 7 and Ubuntu 11.10. After the install I cannot get the wireless to work in the Ubuntu partition. I have tried a couple of different troubleshooting suggestions, but none of them have worked.

sudo apt-get remove bcmwl-kernel-source

sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer

This I tried, but I keep getting a message that says firmware-b43-installer cannot be found. I have a wired connection as well, but I am not getting internet connection through that either. Can anyone upload or send me a link for the firmware-b43-installer?

Please give detailed instructions of troubleshooting.
