Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

These are two killer features IMHO and would give Ubuntu more of those brilliant little details that win new people over and keep old users happy.

Dictionary lens: I sure miss the dictionary panel app from GNOME 2.

Audio output hot-key switch: I seem to want this every single day, and I don't want to mess with Pulseaudio on my production machine. Please have it ready configured on install.

This is not really a question, so it's offtopic here. Feel free to post your suggestions on Ubuntu Brainstorm instead, where people can vote on your ideas and bring them to the attention of the developers. Thanks! – WarriorIng64 Jan 18 '12 at 12:04

Assuming that your question was actually:

"Is there a unity lens/scope for dictionary lookup?"

Then the answer is: yes, there is: https://code.launchpad.net/~mhall119/onehundredscopes/dictionary
