trying to build a package in the ppa that works in local it gives an error because it doesn't find usr/include/*

it seems like dh_auto_install is doing nothing while in local it's executing the install rule in the Makefile.

this is the log:

https://launchpadlibrarian.net/90100079/buildlog_ubuntu-oneiric-i386.librtaudio_4.0.10-3_FAILEDTOBUILD.txt.gz

is there any special way of specifying the install rule for the ppa?

I notice that the rtaudio source package has been built for Precise and Oneiric (with dh_autoreconf and libjack-dev as additional build dependencies over what appears in the log above).
