I'm only able to access it through ssh.
What should i do to make it accessible on local machine?

Should I touch on the grub settings? or anything?

Try Ctrl + Alt + F2 or F3 If that works you can adding console=tty1 to the boot options. – bodhi.zazen Jan 14 at 17:12
