I am new to Ubuntu and am struggling with playing sound in any form. I have installed all the restricted files which I thought might sort it out but it hasn't though it did get closer to working. In Banshee, mp3s play too quickly, as in it seems to skip through the seconds too quickly. If I try to play something like a Youtube clip it's very jittery, again, like it's skipping along. Any help, very appreciated. Thanks, Beverly
