It has been in proposed for a few days now, so unless someone discovers any problems with it, you can expect it soon. I guess sometime during the week.

Sooner or later it will be updated. You might want to check installation instructions for Firefox 9 on Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot using Mozilla security repository, in case you don't want to wait for Ubuntu local repository.

As I said in my answer, it is in the proposed archive now. There's no need to add third-party archives. We first add packages to proposed so that more advanced users can try it first and catch any problems before it reaches the "general public". Bypassing that is not a good idea unless you know what you're doing. – Jo-Erlend Schinstad Jan 1 at 23:03
