I have ubuntu 10.10 (maverick meerkat) on my hp laptop (g-62). Please guide me on how to install the webcam driver.

You typically don't need to install webcam drivers as they're included, can you edit your question with what happens when you try to use the video camera? – Jorge Castro Dec 31 '11 at 18:52

Did you tryied a google search? With the first result, i got a complete manualon the installation guide

Maybe it will help, beause there is a section entitled "LINUX" in it

I also found an Ubuntu Forum help topic about the same trouble
