How do I start a backup on Deja Dup. The "backup now button is greyed out. However, I have set the destination as "Netbook-Backup/Linux Backup". There is now sufficient spare capacity available.

I HAVE CRACKED IT!!!

A reboot is required after setting up the backup. Why is it not stated anywhere

When you find bugs in a program or its documentation, it's helpful to file bug reports. This question will give you some pointers. I've personally found the DejaDup developer to be fairly responsive. – Scott Severance Dec 21 '11 at 13:57
