I'm having a problem with the screen brightness in the settings screen, scrollbar in brightness as much as I change the brightness does not change, remains at most ... so the file in /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/ brightness as much as I change from 7 to 1, the maximum brightness continues.

I am using a Compal NTUC0, and I've done a BIOS update but the problem continues. Anyone can help me?
